Punat has always attracted excursionists because of its attractiveness. Already in the time behind World War 1 During the Second World War, there was an organized reception of guests in Punat through inns, private boarding houses and handicrafts. After World War 2 After the war, due to increased demand, the idea of establishing a company that would unite the catering industry in the town began.

The history of today’s hotel begins in 1963. When the works on the reconstruction of the pasta factory were completed, Punat got its first and so far only hotel – Park. The hotel was a B* category hotel with 37 rooms and 168 beds.

The joint stock company Hoteli Punat d.d. was formed in April 1994.

In the course of all these years, the Hotel Company has lived and grown together with its place, living everything good and sharing everything bad. In the meantime, a new Park II facility was built, Kvarner was reconstructed, the Konoba camp was built, the Pila camp was purchased, and many catering facilities were built. 1990. – The last year before the war in Croatia, the company welcomed with 150 permanent workers and over two hundred seasonal restaurants, 13 catering points, a hotel with two annexes and two camps.

On 30.12.2002 there was a change in the ownership structure in Hoteli Punat d.d. HYPO ALPE – ADRIA-CONSULTANTS GmbH from Austria and
AEJO Beteiligungs GmbH from Austria. And from 31.12.2005 AEJO Betaligungs GmbH from Austria becomes the majority owner.

On March 7, 2003, the General Assembly of the Company adopted a DECISION on the conclusion of the Business Management Agreement between Hotel Punat d.d. and Falkensteiner Hotelmenagement d.o.o Zagreb.
